MNET’s fast-paced riveting drama series, Jacob’s Cross, is back on TV (Dstv), showing why many have loved it these last three seasons and winning even more fans. The much awaited season four is due to begin, but first a recap of previous seasons. It is a testament to the strength of its story that one is again drawn to the recap as if watching it for the first time.
In fact, during the first season of Jacob’s Cross, I was more than concerned about how Lagos and Nigeria were portrayed. It seemed that we couldn’t see Lagos without danfo buses in a sea of confusion. Let’s not even mention the effects of what the antics of some of the Nigerian characters could have on our already ‘wonderful’ image.
