All may not be well within the ranks of members of the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party.
THE PUNCH learnt in Abuja on Monday that some members of the party’s highest organ were expected to meet with President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday night to report what they considered as the excesses of the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo.
Details of their grievances against him were not very clear, but a member of the NWC, who spoke with our correspondent on condition of anonymity, confirmed the development.
He said it was true that some NWC members were scheduled to meet with the President on the issue, but refused to give details of what they would discuss with the President at the meeting.
