Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola
Osun State Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has charged the Super Falcons to focus on winning the female World Cup.
Falcons beat Equatorial Guinea 4-2 during the final of the African Women’s Championship held in South Africa, on Sunday.
Oyinlola, who spoke through his Press Secretary, Mr Kayode Oladeji, congratulated the team for defeating the defending champions, Equatorial Guinea.
The governor said, “The World Cup should be your target now that you’ve conquered Africa. By your victory, you’ve displayed Nigeria’s strength.
“This is the time for the coaches and players to put in more efforts in training so that Nigeria’s name will be etched in gold at women’s World Cup in Germany.”
