Guaranty Trust Bank ( Gambia ) Limited, a subsidiary of G.T Bank Plc has posted D42.4billion (N2.21 billion) profit for the financial year ended 2009. The bank which started operations in the Gambia eight years ago is also projecting a capital base of D200m which equates N10 billion for the end of 2012 financial year.
The bank with 15 branches spreading across the length and breadth of the country was licensed as a full fledged commercial bank to operate in The Gambia on March 15, 2002 distinguishing itself in the banking industry with the unique character which the GTBank brand is known for.
