Chelsea players undermined me – Scolari




Former Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has lifted the lid on his ill-fated tenure at Stamford Bridge, revealing that he felt undermined by some of the club‘s senior players and claiming that he was responsible for improving the performances of several of the Blues‘ stars.

Scolari joined Chelsea in 2008 after five years in charge of Portugal, but was sacked just six months into the job with the Blues sitting fourth in the Premier League table.

At the time, it was thought that Roman Abramovich‘s decision to fire Scolari was motivated by the Brazilian boss‘ failure to gain the support of several key players, with his relationship with Didier Drogba, in particualr, called into question.
