Multi-Trex Integrated Food Plc’s new multi-billion naira factory along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Warewa, Ogun State, is to be opened by President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday,
The event is scheduled to take place during the President’s official visit to the state.
In a statement made available to our correspondent, the company’s Executive Vice- Chairman, Chief Dimeji Owofemi, said the cocoa-based factory valued at N8bn, was built in order to expand the company‘s product lines.
“This new factory will boost our market share and positively stimulate the Nigerian economy. Nigerians, will for the first time, enjoy the taste of real cocoa drinks as against the current situation where they have access only to cocoa flavoured drinks,” Owofemi said.
