Harbhajan Singh struck a career-best 69 as India continue to lead the way in the opening Test against New Zealand.
India have maintained their momentum after the second day of the first Test against New Zealand in Ahmedabad. At close of play on Friday, the visitors had been reduced to 69 for the loss of two wickets, after India had finished their first innings on a total of 487.Resuming the day on 329-3, India failed to take advantage of their excellent start on Thursday -- which saw both Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid hit centuries -- and added only another 158 runs for the loss of their remaining seven wickets.
