Former Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer, Alloy Agu, says Nigeria must take the issue of youth development more seriously to reach the level its football deserves. Agu, who spoke to our correspondent in Lagos, dismisse insinuations that Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama’s form, will kill the ambition of other goalkeepers in the Eagles squad.
The goalkeepers are in the same age brackets. Enyeama is 28, Austin Ejide is 26 and Dele Aiyenugba is 27. Agu says the other goalkeepers have roles to play in the team.
