My fears over skewed world order, by VC

The structural imbalance between the developed and developing nations in many international institutions came to the fore recently at the 233rd Lecture Series of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife. Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba (AAUA), Ondo State, Olufemi Mimiko, who delivered his inaugural lecture on the occasion, lamented that the inherent lopsidedness had weighed heavily against the Third World countries.
The lecture, held at the Oduduwa Hall of OAU, was titled: Swimming against the Tide: Development Challenge for the Long-disadvantaged in a Fundamentally Skewed Global System. Mimiko, a professor of political science, mentioned the International Monetary Funds (IMF) and World Bank as two of the global organisations.
