Local Former Houston rapper sentenced to prison
Rapper Willie D. will serve a year and a day in federal prison.
The 44-year-old artist, whose real name is William James Dennis, was sentenced to 12 months and one day in federal prison. This, after he pleaded guilty last year over purported sales through a company called Texas One Wireless.
Dennis was indicted last June on charges accusing him of selling iPhones and other electronics to online shoppers without delivering the merchandise.
