Before now it seemed hopeless to dream of purposeful leadership in any corner of this country, Nigeria. In fact, the leadership vacuum created by political vacuity has almost greatly dampened everyone’s hope of getting a good leader in our country.
Nevertheless, God is on the side of Nigeria, and hope seems to be enlivened again with the presence of this punctilious leader in Akwa Ibom State.
Nigerians and indeed, Akwa Ibomites in particular, should count themselves lucky and blessed having a leader who is unflinchingly determined to re-write the socio-economic dictum of the state. A previously dickey state is now flourishing with amazing proportion. Judging from the achievements so far recorded by Dr. Godswill Akpabio administration in Akwa Ibom, one would not hesitate to describe the governor as one of the greatest gift from God to the people. The eye may not clearly see itself except by reflection as opined by Shakespeare himself.
