2011: 2 ex-govs under close watch over IBB

THERE is a divided opinion in the camp of former military president, General Ibrahim Babangida, over whether the Minna-based General should continue to pursue his 2011 presidential ambition,
sources said at the weekend.
The said sharp division is coming on the heels of revelations that two main backers of the campaign have come under close watch of international agencies as a result of their links to the funding of the campaign organisation.
Sources in the diplomatic circles described some of those who raised the alarm on the links of the two former southern governors to the Babangida campaign as “International Lovers of Democracy.”
