Airtel offers cheaper calls at 20k per second

Airtel Nigeria has introduced a new tariff structure of 20k per second after the first minute of the day, according to a statement by the company on Thursday.

Tagged, “2Good Offer,” the company said Airtel subscribers would pay 60k per second for the first minute and enjoy 20k per second on all calls for the rest of the day.

According to the statement, subscribers can also make calls at the same rate to any other network in the country.

The offer also allows subscribers to make calls at the same 60k per second for the first minute of the day and 20k per second thereafter to family and friends in the United States.

The Managing Director, Airtel Nigeria, Mr. Rajan Swaroop, said, “We launched the Airtel brand last month with the promise to deliver innovative, affordable and relevant solutions to ‘bring freedom’ to our customers. Our 2Good promotion demonstrates our commitment to live up to that promise.”

The 2Good promo, according to him, also “offers 20 free on net SMSes to every customer with only N100 recharge every month.”
